Availability cost — the Brazilian bill floor

The custo de disponibilidade ("availability cost") is the monthly minimum for Brazilian low-voltage group B customers, based on the connection type and the tariff entered, under REN 1.000/2021 (ANEEL, Brazil's electricity regulator, Normative Resolution No. 1,000/2021). The URL stores the values for sharing. If the consumer unit participates in the Sistema de Compensação de Energia Elétrica (SCEE, Electricity Net-Metering System), check its additional rules.

Art. 291: 30 kWh (single-phase or two-wire two-phase), 50 kWh (three-wire two-phase), or 100 kWh (three-phase). Art. 290: group B billing uses the greater of measured consumption and this cost.
