We reconstruct a Brazilian residential power bill line by line and compare it with the total you paid. The result is transparent screening: we show every component, every assumption, and the tolerance used — not an expert report against the utility.
What we check
ANEEL-approved TE + TUSD tariffs, daily tariff-flag proration when meter-reading dates are available, the connection’s availability floor, Fio B when there is distributed generation, and taxes calculated on a grossed-up basis.
What we do not check
COSIP/CIP is included as entered, without checking municipal rules. Interest, installment plans, the social tariff, and other extraordinary adjustments are excluded from the reconstruction.
Frequently asked questions
Can the auditor determine that I was overcharged?
No. It reconstructs a technical estimate from public data and the information you enter, then shows the difference using an explicit tolerance. A divergence is a reason to check the utility’s calculation details, not an expert report or proof of error.
Why might the result not match the bill exactly?
PIS and COFINS vary by month and utility, ICMS depends on the applicable rule, and the bill may include adjustments we do not model. Interest, installment plans, the social tariff, and extraordinary charges are excluded; COSIP is included only at the amount you enter.
How do I reach the ±2% tolerance?
Open precise mode and enter the ICMS and combined PIS+COFINS rates printed on the bill. Meter-reading dates allow the tariff flag to be prorated by day. If another estimate is required, such as Fio B, the tool widens and publishes the tolerance actually used.
Is my bill data sent to a server?
No. The calculation runs directly in your browser using static files. After a successful audit, a summary profile is saved only in this browser’s localStorage and can be deleted with the “Clear data” button.
